The Jeffries Gentle Neck/Balance strap is made from beautiful calf skin leather, the same as the Gentle reins, making it both comfortable for the horse with no mane rubs and comfortable for the rider to hold.  It attaches to the saddle on the near side to prevent it sliping down the neck and keeping it placed correctly to hold when needed. Being attached to one side only leaves the other side of the neck strap for the rider to hold without having their hand position compromised.  
 
The neck strap attaches to the saddle with  a single trigger clip making it quick and easy to remove. Being of fine desing the strap is discreet and easy to hold allowing the rider to have confidence without holding onto the horses mouth. 
 
Legal to use in British Dressage competition since 2014, British Eventing (following FEI rules) have made it a requirement for the jumping phases that neck straps have a fixed point.
