The MATTES Square is available in GP, Dressage and Show Jumping styles in sizes  Cob/Med and Full/Large.
 
The correction pad is perfect for young horses changing shape quickly, horses that vary in weight and condition with the seasons, to correct natural irregularities whilst in training and horses where the level of work is changing.
 
Available in 4 pocket system (Additional shims available, please contact us).  Each pocket will take up to 6 x 5mm Ploy-Flex shims, giving up to 30mm of adjustment per pocket. Shims can be added to and removed quickly and easily. Without the shims the cloth can be used as an ordinary cloth. 
 
With 150 years of experience Mattes saddle cloths are a first class and highly functional saddle pad using only the finest sheepskin and wool products to ensure optimum comfort.
 
Mattes uses a blend of high quality cotton/polyester quilted fabric which is strong and flexible. The core of the pad is made of two layers: POLY-FLEX which is a deep-needled polyester felt.  This is used to maintain the shape of the pad and spread pressure, whilst polyester wadding provides padding.  The Mattes cloths are made to be breathable.
 
The Mattes Spinefree design reliably prevents any pressure around the withers and spine.  The Mattes secure Saddle-Fix system allows the top seam of the cloth to be attached comfortably in the saddle gullet.
